No clue I got the truck with 50k on it. My best guess no one ever touched it. When I get a used car first thing I do is oil change diff fluid change and filters. I swear unless it’s new car unde 5k miles chances are filters are crap.

Curious to know how you like the K02s once they are on, in terms of road noise. I have heard mixed things but I really like the look.

Discovered my truck came with clear bra installed. Checked the window sticker and it's not listed on there. Maybe the dealer forgot to add it? The door sill guard is on there as well as the all weather floor mats and exhaust tip.

I have had my 265/70/17 Load Range C KO2's over 2 years. No noise. No wear. Running on 4runner Trail wheels 17 x 7.5. They are much quieter than previous KO's in same size.

kjhadfield, first, good job on the third brake light. Second, would you give me permission to save a copy of the picture with the soldered wire tap to an albums page? That is an excellent example of how to make a proper wire tap, and I would like to use that picture In the future, as an example of how to properly make such a joint.

I still see guys using Scotch Locks (SL) for wire taps. SL should never be used outside of the cabins. I used to use SL myself, back before yo could get premade radio patch cables. (Yes, I'm that old) but found the failure rate too high. Again, kudos

Took it offroad for the first time. I've barely had it for a week haha. I have to admit, I cringed a bit hearing small rocks and pebbles smacking against the doors and quarter panels - but I didn't pay $45k to have a lifted grocery getter. I'm very new to off-roading, so I wanted to get a good feel for it and learn how to use all the settings i.e. 4H, 4L rear diff locker etc. I have no plans to rock crawl or anything like that, just wanted something very capable straight from the factory. Something I can use to get places my other car can't (I'm a wildlife photographer).

The plan is to just put them between the bolt head and the tonneau rail. Same bolt diameter, attachment point, and attachment means as the oem tie downs. Should work great. I will post pics after i get them on.

Custom body work/damage ARB rear locker Bumpers Shocks Other parts Tires and Rims Air tank fully plumbed into truck "Golf ball mod"
Isn't there supposed to be a second lock ring above the perch? Also how do you plane on getting the new one without disassembling the shock?
