    Rob,
    Best looking truck!

How are those 4 rubber ‘bumper’/isolators things working out? The ones you installed to dampen when bottoming out shocks.
Any difference in how it rides versus stock ones?
Been looking at them since your video.

nope, it’s a pinch split ring doesn’t need a lock.

spread ring open, used a cam bolt to open it slightly. slide over lower. reverse of how it came off.

Thanks, I try to make it as clean as possible. I’m self taught to soldering so not sure how clean of a job it is and I see ppl solder that like to fan the wire but I tried that before and don’t like the outcome so I make a cross and twist/wrap it around. You could also pull a gap in the insulation and twist/wrap without cutting the wire but then you can’t get the adhesive lined heat shrink on and that’s the only way I like to seal the connection.

Custom body work/damage ARB rear locker Bumpers Shocks Other parts Tires and Rims Air tank fully plumbed into truck "Golf ball mod"
That works then. The fox shocks I have been looking at all had double rings.

Beautiful place to off road, I’m jealous. All I got out here is desert and rocks. I’m also new to off road but just looking at this inspires me. I completely understand about taking a new truck out but that’s the whole reason I got my 4x4. I’m sure stuff will break but it will be fun doing it!!!!

Thanks. Did you have that tire size with stock suspension? No rubbing and all?

id 100% prefer 2 rings over the split. if you loosen the split a bit too much it’ll jump threads

    a lot
    Thanks

The bumpstops make a big difference. When hitting the oem stops, it's very jarring while hitting these you can feel it absorb the shock.

@Plastics Guy is Duro bumps here on TW.

Just ordered my bed cover, should be in by the end of the week!! Aside from AT tires, this is my second upgrade to my truck and I cant wait to continue with the add on's. I am thinking next upgrade will be a full suspension lift either from Fox or Icon. Although I don't do that much off roading I want to lift my truck the right way. Does anyone have any preference on suspension lifts?

    It looks alot better now.

Made it 99% in the daylight, last 15 miles I was highlighting the clouds

Adding airbags to this truck when it gets lifted! 11.8 MPG hauling a heavy 6x12 uhaul was pretty good IMO. Averaged 74 or so
