I think we should call it. This is the weather for Saphire, NC at the times we are going to be on the trail. We just got hammered here in Gville pretty good.

I think we should just call this for another day.

Yup, I am. You've been drinking. I just started. Silly work getting in the way of my weekend.

 

Pfft I work 24/7 drunk or not! Honestly by the time I’m 12 in I can talk retarded just as well as they can! Makes it flow!!!

 

The nice thing is even in the middle of summer it will be 10-15 degrees cooler up there.

 

I'm going to take yalls advice on this run as far as if we think it is safe in the weather. I'm just reading all this since I ran hurricane creek earlier today, it down poured one time and some of the clay spots were super slick. If anybody does still go I'll show up though since I'm in the area.

 

Yea. No sense in risking damage or being trapped up there. Wonder how flooded the river will be.

 

Think like when we had that big group run there, it had been raining a lot before that and the river was pretty darn loud. Probably like that.

 

I think I'll probably still head up that way late morning and at least drive to the river (should be easy,) then play the rest by ear depending on conditions.

It was a great ride, crossroads definitely has some parts you have to pay attention to your lines. It started raining a little harder as we got back to chestnut mountain and yeah it is raining pretty hard now, glad we are not down at the bottom of crossroads now.

 

I didn't take a single picture We got out as the big rain hit. I'm gonna map out the crossroads side roads next trip!
