So after installing the car solutions kit and front camera, my truck won't even turn over.

And yes, I did disconnect the battery.

As far as I can see, fuses are okay. But if there's one I should check in particular, let me know.

Keys work, all electronics, can see what gear is selected (it's an auto), etc.

Battery is good, also wouldn't start with a different battery.

Carista OBD2 says there are no faults and all the ECUs it can read without the truck running show no faults.

Checking across the starter relay there's voltage but you can't hear the starter solenoid click and obviously the starter isn't doing anything.

Can hear the fuel pump and other normal sounds.

Planning on getting it towed to the dealer tomorrow but I'd love to get some ideas from everyone here on what I may have done or what may be up.

The car solutions kit so no extra switches, just double pressing mode.

I did use a multimiter to check the fuses that I felt were tied to starting the truck, all were ok.

Yes, head unit comes on, everything functions as intended, including the new camera.

But the truck won't even turn over.

Also, yes, returned the truck to stock, no workie. Myself and my brother in law, who engineered for Tesla and now Rivian on electronics and integration, are confused.

Hmmm, just brain farting here. Do you have a
remote start? Try it and see if it starts? Key
fob battery coincidentally die at same time? Try
    different key fob.

Did the blue lights on the camera control unit ever light up when you plugged it in?

I don't know how the camera install is done or what is involved, so forgive me if this sounds stupid, but is there a possibility the brake switch got unplugged. You say the electronics power up which would mean its going in ACC mode, but not starting. Maybe the truck does not see you are pressing the brake or in park.

^^^the brake switch suggestion is good.

I wondered if the camera controller was working at all or if it caused a short - it is supposed to have blue LED lights when power comes on - mine does.

Agreed on the brake switch. Thought it may be that as well.

The switch is plugged, and I know it's function to the extent the parking lock works. Can't get out of park unless the pedal is pressed.

    So I think it's okay?

Did you bump out of Park and not notice while you were messing around?

Not sure. Didn't notice blue light.

Everything works as intended though. Double press mode to engage camera. Rear camera activates when shifted to reverse. Front when shifted to drive. All turn off after 30 seconds.

Would this function even without the blue lights?

Nope. Definitely in park. Can't start when in neutral either, which I thought was possible.

    Good way to check that?

There's a bit of resistance that can be measured across the electrical system when measuring across the battery cables disconnected from the battery.

I feel if the system was grounded incorrectly I wouldn't get that?

Man, I’d triple double check the fuses. Good luck!
