Haha I know the answer to this riddle. The add a fuse you used to connect to the ignition is missing the second fuse. Make sure that both fuse slots in your connection to the ignition has a fuse. It will slightly turn on like you have done but it won’t turn over to start even though it is cranking. I learned that when installing my Switch-Pro.

There are no fuses or wires to be tapped using the car solutions system.

    Could you please elaborate?

If there were no fuses or wire taps it must be something else. When in doubt uninstall and see if it will crank.

Are your brake lights coming on when you press the brake?

Good point. Didn't check. Went off the fact that the truck wouldn't let me out of park till I pressed the brake pedal.

    I'll check that next.

Trucks at my parents place and I had errands to run so no immediate update.

So this reply is just a test I might want to try if it was mine and it would not crank but
there is power to everything it seems. Some of you may know the term "jump the T"
regarding older style relay's to test components.
So my thought here for now is to get a jumper wire and pull the starter relay and jump
power to the starter to see if it cranks which would eliminate issues from relay to starter
but not rule out that the relay mysteriously failed. The only thing I am not sure
of is which 2 terminals to jump since I have never looked at one of these relays.
Would also want to check for power to that relay.

So, there are multiple relays under there that are identical, including one I believe for the wipers/washer.

We took that one and put it into the starter relay spot and still nothing.

So, I'm not sure I want to do a jumper

Also, the truck was left overnight with the battery disconnected, no difference.

Do you guys think I tripped an immobilizer of some kind? Any way to check/reset that?

To comment on this further, the truck goes out of acc mode and says ignition on when you press the brake pedal and then the start button.

But the truck doesn't turn over.

Well that pretty much tells me the brake switch is working. It also means that the truck thinks it has started.

Not necessarily. If you press the start button twice without your foot on the brake pedal it'll go to ignition on.

That way you can shift the truck without starting it.

I felt the switch was working because I could get it out of park.

    In, curious about the diagnosis.

So wait, does the truck think that the engine is running? It doesn't display an error on the dash when you start it? Mine will say "check battery" or similar if the engine isn't running when it should be.

I didn't know that about pushing the button twice without the brake. I have never done that.

Oh, it says that. Just like when the motor isn't running.

It just doesn't turn over. Everything else seems okay.

In your OP you said: Checking across the starter relay there's voltage but you can't hear the starter solenoid click and obviously the starter isn't doing anything.
Short of jumping the terminals to supply voltage to the starter to see
if it cranks maybe hook your volt meter to the starter and try to start it
and see if voltage shows at the starter.
Do you know anyone with a high end scanner. Can usually see various things
like sensors, switches etc. I have a Snap-On Solus and hooked it to my truck
and can monitor the push button for start, trans position, brake switch etc.
Otherwise I am at a loss currently.
I work on semi tractors and have run into weird issues and most of the
time it seems like it turns out to be something stupid simple.
