The recent threads on the gas pedal / floor mat issue got me to thinking...(dangerous, I know)

This place is a good group of folks. Serious debates handled with civil discourse. By both the younger folks...and us old timers here.

    I'm impressed.

And...I also like the lack of "over-moderation" as seen on many other sites.

I love when Americans can be themselves...respect others opinions without ugliness...and have fun along the way. Because when you hit the half century point...you do realize, it is about the journey not the destination.

BTW...2 other things that have impressed me here:
    1) the ladies on this forum...strong, smart, and have nice trucks.
    2) speaking of trucks...just wow! Some of y'all have blown my mind with your talent and ingenuity...bunch of real MacGyver's here.

I agree. I got banned from a Dodge Charger forum site because a guy asked me where I got my hoses and I told him. The moderator sent me a "warning" saying I cannot advertise nonsupporting vendors. I explained I wasn't advertising, just telling a guy where to get them. Then I told the moderator to get bent because as a vet I fought so that you could sit on your couch and moderate guys like me. So they booted me. Tacomaworld seems cool though.

I was just thinking this same thing last night.

It's nice to join a forum and find an answer to pretty much every question you could come up with (so long as you're capable of searching), see so many examples of what you can blow your money on, and not be immediately aware of who the moderators are (if you know what I mean).

    Great forum

I'm OK here. I'm near the RI border. About 50-50 here. I was born and raised in Mass. Actually saw Ted Williams play (but I don't remember it) in 1960!

Don't they have his head frozen in a box down in Arizona or something? If so, you may get to see him play again!

TW is the best place in the world! I have learned so much, and without this site, I would not have as nice of a truck as I have now! And I would have never known what to buy when I was looking!

I have to agree that this is a great forum. At least the folks here have a sense of humor to go with their knowledge and experience. And as was pointed out, the Moderators are not oppressive.

Don't forget your Canuck buddies as well Jude! :D Nice sentiments and agreed Larry. Although at 41 I feel like one of the "older-timers" on here it sure is a lot of fun and VERY info-laden.
