Since I just had my guys in a crane safety class, this hits home for me. News said one dead, four injured. They are saying wind might be a factor.

Ok y'all, one of our fellow off roaders from TTORO and fellow Toyota enthusiast has come into some issue with his family, @Tuff1833 reached out to me and asked for help to spread the word to this first responder and his family. Please take to time to see the issues and if you can give a little to help support them it is truly appreciated.

Go to Ricky’s page for additional information

Here are some pics of Ricky's ride

    Hope everyone is okay.
OSHA will be onsite unfortunately. It’d be better if a safety guy could’ve caught it beforehand

It’s on the operator for sure. Lateral load from wind is a critical item. The lift never should have been made I would guess. Being pushed by bosses or plain inexperience would be a safe bet.

Yes, we have about 30-40 minutes before - the good news is the hail cells are east and west of us, so just a quick monster I hope!

    Chris was having fun....lol

Air chisel got them mostly loose, in the end a BFH did the trick

Very, Chris has several colorful metaphors at the time.

It's here! Highest gust so far measures 38, and I know my anemometer is "low" in high winds. Every pot and more you see is now on it's side in the grass - what hadn't blown over, I tipped over to keep it in the yard, and not the pool. There was a 39 gust, and wind and thunder - just keep that H stuff away - we appear to be in the "middle" - I'll take it.
