My current bumper is cracked on the top portion of the corner, as in the piece you trim off to put on the ARB would be split in two

Oh yeah that is right in the sweet spot. Do some research on the 05-11 and see if it’s for you. Could eliminate all that bs.

Lonesome lake is thawed and easily accessible, snow covering half the road towards the top but you still have a full lane width to bypass it

Went up the other weekend and made it to last hard 90deg corner where the meadow is at. The bushes were not bad but the snow was still 2ft in that spot. I have been wanting to hike in there and fish/camp.

You’d have to lock both ends. It’s probably about 15 miles up there, all gravel.
Definitely the fullest I’ve ever seen it. I didn’t bring my pole but I saw a couple fish surface.
I hiked down there once and if you go past the lake there’s a real nice meadow with a camp spot on a little creek. I want to stay there for a weekend and explore deeper back there but I haven’t had the chance

Yeah that would be awesome. I also feel like we need to get a south end camping weekend scheduled. Find a spot for some fishing, beer, and a nice fire for some BS

If anyone likes hot sauce, check out these guys they’re local

    http://davezfoodz.com/?post_type=product

They were at fall city days yesterday and i sampled all their sauces, the classic chili is one of the best tasting hot sauces I’ve had and the scorpion and Ghost sauces have great taste and heat.

Beer inspired idea of the day. Has anyone thought about removing the lower crossmember in red and boxing in the area circled in blue?

Yes. Want to do this very badly. Saw recently @JimSnell built a bumper for a guy with @DEZERT TOY fab’s frame horns and you have to cut that low crossmember off to do it. If I wasn’t so broke I’d be trying to do the same immediately

Added a heavy square tube crossmember to replace the one that was cut out, plus act as winch mount. Then the horns bolted on over that and all the round tube was welded to the horns. So the bolted on bumper with all the round tubing was probably 40ish pounds, and then the new cross member was probably an additional 30.
