Installed Tuff Country 3/2 lift 53910KN. Love the ride, a bit stiffer but no more brake dive. (hater's rejoice )

It helps a lot on a DC. I also did Dynaliner on top of Dynamat tho.

Quite a while back @RallySOP mentioned that someone needs to make an adaptor for the shift boot ring for the guys who want to run different shift knobs.

This is the first prototype. A question for you guys... Does it sit low enough? As of now, it leaves 1-9/16" to the top of the threads exposed. It would work great for the FJ knob but it might need to be lower for others.

It would be easy to open up the top hole more so it would sit lower since the shifter is tapered which keeps the boot from falling down once this is installed.

I just reversed the boot and zip tied it.

Loaded her up for the 6 hour ride home from vacation. Bed is fully loaded too. Glad it was a no wind day. Cruised 75mph real nice.

I hadn't really considered doing anymore than just the doors honestly. Maybe something to think about for later. Lets see how much improvement the current mod did first.

The doors and back make the biggest difference so It should be noticable. Especially if you tap the bed with you knuckle and then the door. You'll really notice. I went way overkill but couldn't stop.

And another big advantage with soundproofing the doors is it greatly enhances the speakers sound in the doors.

Started at 13:00, finished at 17:30, with an hour to go to Home Depot and snacks. Wife spent about 2.5 hours on the sound proofing. All in all it was an easy but time consuming process. My wife is good with this type of stuff, which helped a lot.

ETA: I still have over half a box of soundproofing material, so enough for another truck. If you are in the lower mainland, I will give it away for good karma to someone else doing the upgrade.

Helped hide some of those interior door scratches on the drivers door. I tend to get the door with my foot when I’m getting out. Don’t see how as I’m only 5’ 3”. Which 303 cleaner did you use. I haven’t used any yet, but see how many people recommend it. There are a few choices on Amazon and I want to be sure I the right one.
