You can get one at Tnutz.com in black for about $13 plus shipping. You’ll find it under the 10 series bars. There one or two other companies selling same but I don’t recall the names

Thank you! Do you happen to know what fractional length I need to select when checking out?

Pretty sure its 47". If you scroll down the TNutz 10 series page you'll see they are selling the double slot bars in 47", 50" and 51" labeled as Prinsu replacements.

Don't forget to select option to have both ends threaded.

Hmm.. mine went from a 2 with meaty tires to a 9 with the rack alone... Nothing else up there and I can no longer have conversations with passengers. It's simply far too loud anywhere above 45 mph..

everyone keeps saying they didn't notice a difference with just the rack. But my difference is substantial

The standard Prinsu uses 1/4-20 threads, not m6. There is a page below for “Alternate hardware for your Prinsu” that will confirm bolt thread and lengths.

Dang, that is insane. I’ve bought brackets and tnuts from them in past and always been less than $10 shipping. Maybe check Amazon, might find someone offering free shipping

That's odd that it's that loud for you. When I installed mine it was so quiet I didn't even need to buy the edge trim. I can definitely tell it's up there during a strong headwind or crosswind, but it's not so loud that you have to speak louder in the vehicle. When I installed mine, I did position it as far as possible to the rear to keep the gap above the windshield minimum. That gap is just wide enough that I can fit a towel under it for cleaning so it's pretty dang close.

Now I will say that apparently the bluetooth mic that's in the ceiling must be much more sensitive to the wind noise created by the rack. When I'm talking on the phone people complain when I get above 45mph that it sounds like I'm driving with my windows down.

Yeah I'm going to try positioning it further back today.. although there really isn't much room for forward/back changes.

My microphone is on the roof too, and I'll have to ask someone how it sounds. Lol.

Sent you a PM about my set up. If you can slid it back and get the wind deflector and trim piece to make more contact with your roof, minimizing a path for air to whistle through, that may make a difference.

Thanks. Yes, I feel like that is what's going on. The noise is whistling and whipping through that gap in the deflector and the roof. I'll mess with it tonight.

Kayak J Style attachments worked great however I do need to figure out a better pressure support as the universal one that came with the attachments doesn’t fit the prinsu bars as well as they could. Any recommendations?

For those with the lightbars. When you throw a canoe up there, does it rest on it? Or do you guys usually get canoe carriers?

I don’t put anything on top, but with my Caliraised 42” light bar, it sits slightly below if not flush with the crossbars.

Sorry if this has already been stated recently, but does anyone know if Prinsu is offering a group buy or discount anytime soon on the double cab rack?
