The only things I haven't checked are the bulbs and the relays. Not sure how to check the relays

    Does the high beam work?

You have 2 relays on the harness. If the high beam works, remove the relays and swap their position.

But first, check the OEM relays. That is actually more likely on an 06, same thing, if the high beam works then swap the OEM relays on the high and low beam. The relay diagram is on the underside of your fuse cover lid so you can identify which is which. I’m betting a 13 year old relay more likely failed than a 3 week old one.

Could be. The highs and lows don't works thought.

Relays are unlikely to be the issue if both high and low dont work. The harness is still hooked up correctly, both positive and negative/ground?

Try unplugging the harness from the bulb on the driver side and plugging the bulb directly into the OEM wiring. Test low beams. Low beam should be ok on the OEM wiring, but don’t use the high beam. This will isolate the problem to the OEM circuit or aftermarket harness.

So both the bulbs are bad... I'll take a pic later. I've never seen anything like this. Neither had my mechanic. Lol the bulbs ballooned

Can I run normal wattage bulbs with the headlight services harness?
I work nights and need headlights asap.

    Exactly!
Mine were the 100/95w Osrams that OP recommended and I only had em installed about a month. Maybe less.

It still sounds a bit suspicious that they both went at the same time that you had a bunch of work done. Wondering if someone reconnected something wrong when these other things were getting done.

Yes, you can run a normal wattage bulb on the harness without issue.

Very strange you got so little time out of them and they both failed that early. Typically they last closer to a year. Did you touch the bulbs by chance when installing?

Figured but you know it is the standard question to ask for very early bulb failure. :)

I installed this upgrade a few weeks back (harness + Osram 100/90W) and so far I've really enjoyed the increased brightness. I was concerned about blinding others, even though I know the cutoff wouldn't change (I lifted the truck and adjusted the lights down awhile back). Regardless, after my install I double checked the cutoff heights and adjusted a smidge lower. So far, no one has flashed me and the cutoff is not blinding anyone through their back window.

I've never really been a fan of swapping my headlights to LED's since the color temps never really appealed to me (not to mention the glare it causes). I like the slight yellowish light of the stock halogens because it's easier on my eyes. These Osrams seems to keep a near stock color temp so I like that.

I'm frequently driving on long stretch roads (with sheep or goats randomly jumping out) without street lights and this should definitely help.

I keep a second pair of Osrams in my glove box for when they burn out. On to the fog lights now.

So since my 100w osrams shitted out in less than a month, anybody recommend a better bulb?

Man that is really strange, I've never heard of the bulbs failing even remotely that soon. I posted all the data for bulb output. I've been selling off all the bulbs used to gather the data pictured below for cheap, if you want to give them another shot or something else, shoot me a PM. (The Osram 85/80ws are not for sale and the IPF, Philips +150 and Osram +150 are sold)
