I respect you for wanting to repair that Roy (reminds me of my dad replacing brushes in auto alternators) but gotta tell ya I looked for a new battery for my old Craftman cordless at Lowes yesterday and they were $75 buckaroos, a new B&D 20 volt w/battery and charger was on sale for $35, minus 10% military discount, already had a 20 volt battery now to use as a back-up that came with my blower. Hard to beat and it's N+I+C+E... much nicer than that one they used to drill holes in the moon with

For those that bought the 44" tool box, does it come fully assembled or in a box?

Asking so I can figure out how much of my truck to undo to get it home.

Nickel 's worth of free advice; When you buy shop lights, buy 2 or 3 extra fixtures.... Good to have later on down the line...especially if you should decide to add another later, or, need parts

We're moving, and using Pack Rat. Same idea as PODS, but literally half the price.

Anyway, I made the trip to harbor freight for tie downs to secure big stuff, and some moving blankets.

A total of 12, 15 foot 400lb ratchet tie downs, for about $35. 4 packs were under $12 each before tax.

I wish I could remember if the wheels were on (want to say yes), but I know everything else was together. Heavy MoFo and it was well packed - took a while to get all the packing off. That was a few years ago so somethings may have changed.

either way it isn't bad. But it was packaged? I just didn't want it potentially rolling around in the bed despite my best efforts to secure it.

It was packed with cardboard, wood and cellophane type stuff. It did not roll; as I recall the wood kept the wheels off the ground.

Now that I think about it I'm sure the wheels were on it. I swapped them for smaller wheels to lower the cabinet height.
