White second gen on 35" (315/75/16) Mickey Thompson Baja atz p3 tires and bronze SCS f5 wheels. Steel front and rear bumpers.

I was in the stock (for now) cement off road. The tires caught my eye as I have the same ones mounted on some bronze SR8s (but in 33s).

First glance I read this at "Spotted in Magnolia." I was wondering for a second, "that sure as hell doesn't look like it's in the city to me" Makes more sense on second read

I'm debating on a snorkel ONLY for that reason. My airbox is completely full of dust when I go on our wheeling/camping trips out on the cascades. Super dusty in late summer. Eventually when I go 35s I'll have to rip out the fender liner allowing the airbox to suck up even more dust. I'm contemplating making some sorta rerouted naca duct to allow the airbox to suck cleaner air without having use a full on snorkel.

I wonder how Trophy Trucks handle air filtration? I don't see them running the typical snorkel that we see on most mere-mortal trucks.....

Since the motors aren't built for longevity it looks like this one just runs a foam filter around the actual filter. They probably tear down the motor and rebuild it after each season anyway.

We almost put in an offer on a house on deer island, on the other side of the lake. But later I learned that the water level drops drastically during the fall/winter and the commute to work and back would be hell. Sure was temping to have waterfront though.

Doesn’t drop drastically, they pretty much drain it. It’s a lot of fun to ride quads and dirt bikes out there In the winter

Yeah, I saw few pictures when the water level was almost down to nothing, basically a few big puddles. Ultimately we passed because the whole point of selling our old house was to get into a good school district for the kids (#oldpeoplestuff). Still thinking about a little boat for lake wilderness though.

Little non motorized boat would let you go to all sorts of little lies around here that they stock every year, I just went to lake 12 (black Diamond) last weekend and we caught a bunch of trout

Nice! I've looked at lake 12 on the map but I didn't know if they had a public boat launch or not. I fished wilderness a little bit, but I didn't have my leader set up right (too short) and most of the trout people were catching were lil guys left over from the fishing derby.

Yep public launch, all you need is the WDFW pass you get when you buy your liscence. There’s not real monsters, a majority of what you catch is the fish they plant every year. But they’re good enough size to smoke and pack in my lunch box

I was trying to get my brother n law to register for the bass tournament they had on tapps a month ago. Instead we went and caught some doinkers at the slough here in town.
