People who don’t take care of their trucks

I saw a 2016 OR today that was completely cluttered up. Trash all inside of it. Dash covered in receipts and wrappers, crap in the bed, looking like it’s never been washed and I just don’t understand. Vehicles are big investments. My truck isn’t always pristine. There’s usually a gym bag and a half finished bottle of water and probably a book or something, but it’s sure not trashy.
I had an old Ranger that I loaned to a friend for a couple of months and she junked it up so bad that I couldn’t believe it. Just left it filthy.
This is just a pet peeve. It doesn’t cost anything to keep a truck (or car) respectable. Y’all know anyone who trashes their rides?

i'm the opposite. no one is allowed to wear shoes in my truck and for every bird that poops on my truck i buy a rotisserie chicken.

Personal choice really... some people are just messy. I doubt where they live looks much better and that cost even more per month lol.

 

Yeah, that’s fair. I just know I wanted a Tacoma for a really long time and couldn’t afford one and it doesn’t sit well with me when I see someone not appreciating something they have, you know?

My neighbor leaves his car a mess. Also his carport, but this is about vehicles.

 

I actually think trucks that have no scratches in the paint or gravel/rock chips underneath are poser trucks. This goes double if they are lifted. If you have a Tacoma, and it has never seen anything but pavement, then you probably should have got a Subaru.....or a Jeep.

I made it a habit to not look inside other people’s cars.

 

Yeah. I’m with you on that. My bed is scratched up because I for sure haul stuff.

 

My wife knows someone with a Ferrari. Their kids have stained the seats with ice cream and there are fast food wrappers lying around. It's all a matter of perspective and not worth worrying about OPPs.
