    I haven't checked that possibility.

I passed the wire through the same hole near the upper, driver side of the firewall that I used for my lightbar.

That hole has been in use for over a year now without issue.

Tried this, no change. Truck sees the key, gear position, etc. but doesn't turn over.

So yeah, I'm sure it's a fuse or something I tripped somewhere, just can't find it. Any other fuse boxes besides the one under the dash and in the engine bay on the driver's side?

At this point, I'm happy the tow will be covered by Toyota Care, lol. As for everything else, hopefully this won't be one of those expensive life lessons.

Did you check both sides of every fuse?

    Not yet.

    That's why I said earlier I believe it's a fuse or I tripped something.

Probing one side with a multimeter earlier didn't show any blown fuses.

Hmm interesting, it's important to check both sides. I'd start on the interior under the dash.

    Faux pro grille, plastidip wheels.
Do these have a fuel shut off or inertia switch? Could be that got thrown. I'm not sure that it would cause a no crank tho.

The wiring diagram that comes with the car solutions kit is incorrect.

Do not connect red (+12V) to Black (-12V)
If you connected it like this you probably blew a fuse.

I'm betting a loose or missing wire on the starting system.

    Have you tested the battery?

No, but tried the battery from my brother in law's truck. Didn't make a difference.

I agree. I'm sure it's something I did, just don't know what that is.

Did your dealer happen to install a alarm type system that immobilizes the starter? they seem to put them in most cars and trucks then try to sell you
on them at closing in the finance office. if you don't buy, they just leave them in the truck.

Of course there was something installed. All vehicles on lots have them nowadays. I don't think you can buy a vehicle without that nowadays.

As to whether or not it has immobilizer functions I don't know.

It was something my brother in law and I have discussed as being something I triggered accidentally
