It’s definitely a couch bike. I get a lot of grief for having an “old man bike” lol

It's very nice. Glad your ok. Would like to add a new to me bike to my stable but not in the cards. Like the soft tail models. Do love my current ride 06 kawi z1000. Has the period zx9r motor, way crazy fun and above my skill lol.

Sorry about your pool issues. 525 an hour seems ridiculous to pay when most of it can be done by getting in the water yourself with a dye tester. Pressurizing the lines isnt that hard either. Let me know if I can help.

Damn it's nice to have a V8. 4.7l is a mid-90's design, doesn't have a lot of output from the displacement, but the sound when you put your foot into it.

Sure would be nice of Toyota to make that sweet 4.6l V8 available in the Tacoma and 4Runner. V6's are alright, but they don't compare to the roar from a V8.

I had a 2003 4runner with the V8. Hated the fuel mileage, but it was a killer rig.

Ah a truck driver. That's what I did for most of my life. I kinda miss it but I like being retired even better. You have a long way to go for that ya young pup. Drive safe.

    Except I’m not a driver.
    I’m a mechanic for thems.
But thank you! I can actually already retire.... but I choose to work. I’m 100% service connected from my time overseas.

In fact this was most my day. DPF filter replacement and pulling a turbo and starting the exhaust manifold.

Better to be the mechanic vs, the driver

IMO drivers get screwed on a regular basis

HD and touring bikes aren't my thing, but that's a really nice bike. Who cares if it's an old man's bike? Lol
