    @zero4 how hard is it to machine titanium?

    @zero4 is it true anodizing titanium makes it 100x cooler?

    Yeah, you also have to make sure the ecu is identical to your truck other then the fact it has to be a manual one vs a auto one

    Tell me why my cousin is trying to say he has a typer R block with a stock gsr head and a LS tranny in his integra and that is a better setup then you know actually swapping a type r drive train in

    Type R bottom end is stronger (stock internals & webbing). LS block doesn't have all the external webbing that GSR & Type R blocks have, no crank brace, & also no oil squirters for the pistons. GSR head will give higher compression on a Type R block cause it has smaller combustion chambers. But Type R head flows better & has better valvetrain (stock). LS tranny would be better for forced induction (longer gear ratios) but no LSD stock.

    I actually ran a US GSR block (B18C1), JDM Integra Si-Vtec pistons, GSR head with an adapter plate to run a Type R intake manifold, and a tranny from a B16B (JDM Civic Type R).... had a small diff so it was weaker but spooled up faster, gears were super short.

    I forget but I think it was the other way around. You loose turning radius if you use T4R LBJs. (Please correct me if I'm wrong.)

    If you use 4Runner LBJ you have to use 4Runner rod ends too, which as far as I understand are smaller/weaker

    Not exactly sure what's compatible from the 3 gen T4Rs, there maybe changes in the later yrs just like for Tacomas.

    The older 1st gen Tacomas used links & bushings for the sway bar but the later 1st gens used one piece ball joint style links. I forget when they changed over to that, somewhere around 99-00 I think. I'm not for sure but 3rd gen T4Rs never used the links with bushings.

    It's easy to see what's identical. Just look up the.partsist for both vehicles. Whatever is identical will have the same p/n.

    The part of the 4R tierod that goes into the 4R LBJ is smaller than the Tacoma’s, so in order to use 4R LBJ’s on a Tacoma you have to use 4R tierods
