There are so many things out there these days.
    Copycat handles etc
Pics of valve body helps sometimes. And if you look carefully sometimes the brand is on spout or drain

I will soak some vinegar - I know I have some. Thanks. So hard to find pieces for old to match, but all the bath faucets were don't at the same time. Like to keep it rather that do it all over again!

These are all American Standard, but the "Series Name" escapes me after all that time. Currently in Amazon, from google. Got a good "knock off brand" name I can add it google search?

    Thanks bud!

I prefer Delta. American standard can be a pia.

It's all a PITA to me! Don't know how you put up with it. We've replaced more Deltas and Moens in the kitchen, than I have with the valves in the baths. My shower was that one that finally led to the discovery I need the real valve, not a Danco. I've gotten "quite good" with the baths. Once I got her dang handles off, I had the valves done in 15 minutes (good for me). But I have never had a problem like this one with exterior hardware! I don't want to destroy it if I can help - and we still have a shower that works.....

Appreciate the advice sir! 5:00 - you can take "make us jelly" pics of the deck!

My wife will tell you I hate to do it, but paying for the a**holes here in town is not worth it unless it is a HUGE or permitted job. And we keep putting "better & more expensive" in the kitchen, but still, I have to do the valve in that Delta again soon, because it doesn't like to shut off. And WE HAVE SOFT WATER!

Those stems look new. Seats are probably wasted

STEMS ARE new. These have a ceramic combination - I just have to "clean" the seats with a little Dremel grind to smooth them, if they don't seat the first time. These went in smooth with no leaks, so I just gave them a light touch up - not a dribble. These sets with the ceramic seats are "lifetime" warranty, but I've been through more computers than hardware. I have left a contact message, because I did register warranty, so maybe they will get back.
The outside hardware, on the other hand, PITA!

I’m not that familiar with newer American standard.

Me either! These are our first plumbing job when we moved in! I really just wanted to know if you had a magic potion other than vinegar or CLR, for stubborn parts.
Have a beer, and carry on good sir!
    And show us your deck!
Trying to get my pizza ordered!
