I snap chatted a buddy (national guard) yesterday after my run and asked him if he had run that day, replies F no and F you if you tell him he should, so I told him he should go run.
I’m only doing push-ups because it’s part of the PT test.

Second workout on the new rower. Finally getting my cardio in. Going to try and start rowing in the mornings that I don’t surf, and then do weights after work. I just can’t get motivated enough in the mornings lately to lift.

Not sorry about shitty handwriting. Some people say weighing yourself everyday makes you go crazy. It helps me stay on track and accountable. I basically stay pretty close and I guess that’s a good thing ? If I don’t gain weight but keep working out then wouldn’t that mean I’m turning fat to muscle ? Or is that wrong? Lol

Well, not turning fat into muscle but...as long as you are getting stronger and/or bigger it should mean you are gaining muscle and Losing fat. :) Which can certainly happen since more muscle will burn more calories. Ideally that won't last long before you start gaining weight since muscle weighs more than fat too! ;)

I hope I don’t ever gain :anonymous: I want a tone body like Supra ^^^. The lightest I’ve ever been was 182. So I’m not far off track. Don’t know what I would look like at 170-175. Just trying to figure this body stuff and muscle mass water weight blah blah blah routine out lol

Going to the gym tomorrow before work (fuck, 4:00 is gonna feel early) and I plan on using the stair machine, any tips for someone who’s only used it once before?
Recommended pace for beginner? Or how do I find my pace?

It’s interesting to find out, but I think you’ll find that being super light is no fun. I was like 167 2 summers ago and single digit body fat. I just looked small. Wasn’t very strong and was just that skinny guy with abs. I’m mid 180’s now. Have some half assed 4 pack abs with good lighting, way stronger (still not strong by any means) and am way more comfortable. I also think I look better where I’m at.

It’s just all part of the process though. I’d like to get up to like 195-200 range to see how I feel, but I hate eating.

Planning on competing in powerlifting this fall/winter. Been working with a coach for 2 months now and I’m getting decently stronger. Depending on where I’m at weight wise, I’ll either be a really really light 198 and get 100% fucking smoked, or I’ll be a heavy 181 and get like 98% fucking smoked. We’ll see.

Now you’re a few lbs heavier, still small, and not very strong.

Still skinny, but 8 inches taller and 30 pounds heavier than your manlet ass.

Still weaker, but *insert shitty excuse about short people having better leverages and less ROM*

Super light is fun when you have muscles and low body fat. You were just a skinny fat 165

Bro good luck with competing. And that is true about the weight and strength. I have noticed I can handle slightly more weight now as I can rep 250 4x4 on bench which is a new high.

Whatcha gonna compete in? All nat?

Less than 50 floors per 10 minutes for sure. I'd guess starting around level 4-5 would be a good pace. I used to work out with a IBBF Physique Pro and we would "warm-up" on a stairmaster for 25-30 minutes before leg day. He'd have me start at level 10 and by the end of that 30 minutes we were up to 13-14.
