Wow. Three new pages in the trading post, and not even a full page in the BS thread.

On what wheels/backspacing? Because I've run 265/75/16 on FJ trail team wheels, which would be the same size (and now 235/85s), and had minimal rubbing. Usually just a bit before full lock and on the mudflaps that I haven't removed. Off road they'll rub a little worse depending on angles/stuff, but hardly to the level I'd describe as 'like shit'.

So, planning a drive to/from Massachusetts to pick up some of my fiancée's junk (oh, and hang with her family, they're cool). Trailer rental roundtrip is significantly cheaper roundtrip than one-way, but was wondering if there'd be anywhere along the way that'd make sense to buy an enclosed trailer, then sell locally when I returned. Any thoughts?

But that sounds like work (was just hoping someone had relevant experience). Figured it would end up with that, though.

Thanks for transporting us to the proper thread :threadjacked:

Wheels are pro sema 17x7 4mm offset. If there's any gradient when turning more than 3/4 it sounds like a faulty fridge ice dispenser. Did you end up trimming, lifting, or living with it?

OMG why the hate on Jeeps! ;)

I have a '93 YJ that is our FUN vehicle but over the past couple years it gets harder and harder to get the use out of it. Regeared, lifted, modded...etc...but it is fun. HOWEVER, the reason I came to TW is to get a TACOMA! Period dot. Since our Taco purchase in Jan, we haven't even touched the YJ. Kind of sad but having fun wrenching on the Taco moreso than the YJ as I have kind of lost a bit of interest in modding it.

Anyhow back on subject...you can own a TACO and JEEP and be happy :)

But, to summarize, since you bought the taco you have worked on or wheeled the Jeep since. Sounds about right.

I miss how you Colorado Tacomaworld peeps help each other out

This Montana crowd is an interesting bunch. None of them have trail rides and I found a guy on the forum that would weld my sliders on and weld the plates on for a CMC. Turned out he was a complete a-hole who wanted more than a shop would charge and insulted me when I questioned him about the price. Luckily he said how much beforehand, so now I need to find another welder. Rant over.

Carry on Colorado crew with helping each other out and going on epic adventures!

WOW that sucks! In New Mexico we had a "crew" of guys and gals that we literally did this every friggin weekend.

This was back about 20 years ago but everyone put in their "best efforts".

I was one of those new folks and learned from the BEST in town......pay it forward and get folks together! In "MY OPINION" it is about helping each other out.

I can't comment about Colorado folks here "YET" but I have not been on a trail run or a wrenching party. New to TacomaWorld but as far as Jeep folks go.....what you said stinks.
