When it comes to someone's vehicle I don't worry too much. When it's something that's coming from my truck that I'm not familiar with....... Yeah I have a little freak out lol

i am not even sure if its a serious noise or not leading to bigger problems and potential thousand dollars to repair

Have you tried turning the radio up? That seems to fix those types of problems :anonymous:

yes, it goes away when radio is up lol
I just need to make sure something is not fishy within the A/C parts, usually only time it has been nociceably happening so far (in my amateur diagnosis)
but it has not happened all the time
replacing evap coil is big money i think

Tried looking one up. I'm guessing the part is between $100-200. Probably a shit ton of labor involved

yes, I pulled the whole dash out of a totaled 95.5 here at a salvage yard in NE before it got sent to the crusher,
dug all the way back to the heater core on it, just to see whats involved
lots and lots of parts to remove carefully (and then put back in)
so hopefully its not the problem
A/C still works and takes humidity out fairly well for its age

Oh lovely. I can see why a shop would charge a lot. Something like that would probably take me a couple of weekends or more if I run into issues (which I most likely would)
