Pretty much. However in Texas they can detain you for up to 45 minutes based on whatever they can pull out of their ass before they have to have a real reason. Ive already been in touch with the supervisor on each occasion and keep being told the officers have been "talked to". I told them next time im pulled over for the same non-offense it will escalate to harassment issues. Those 3 cops now look the other direction when I pass by them.

 

The automatic headlights are pretty sweet, I set the switch the first day I got my truck and have never touched it again since then.

Move this stupid 4wd button somewhere else so you don't switch into 4wd thinking you turned A/C on. Really bad location.

Huge fan of the all windows up or down command somewhere in the truck. I am the same way, I feel like it takes me a min to open and close all of them.

 

All new Tacos have auto on/off and auto bright/dim headlights. Its part of toyota safety sense which also includes, pre collision system, land departure alert and radar cruise.

 

Manual locking hubs, mechanical transfer case lever, DIY maintenance, steel bed and bumpers...

Darn you are exactly correct. Auto High beams are part of TSS. My bad. Well that is why I joined to sharpen my skill set. I am a master certified sales guy who just got schooled.

I never said anything negative about cars and trucks sharing motors. Simply that a proper truck engine should have low end tq and the Ecoboost has tons of it. I'm well aware of the Ecoboost history and have owned one.

What is wrong with the push start button. I like just jumping in and going. Not having to pull my keys out of my pocket.

 

I have a 2016 TRD Sport with tech package and it has the auto on off lights.

 

In 2016, the tech package was bundled with the premium package. You probably also have dual zone climate, etc. My 2019 has tech only, no auto headlight on when dark.

 

Its funny. My wife has 2018 4runner TRD OR premium and it does not have auto lights. I hate it. I always have to figure out which direction to turn on her lights when I'm sitting in the dark.
