fucking resale value haha. These trucks really hold it down.

It was on par with what I see low mileage ones go for now so I didn't overpay on it. Of course "overpay" is subjective and plenty of people think it's crazy to pay that much for a 15 year old truck, but I wanted a compact Tacoma and finding one with 24k miles on it in showroom condition was like being blindsided by a unicorn. In my subjective opinion anyway lol.

 

I don't disagree with your purchase one bit. I probably would have done the same. All these new vehicles have too much electronic crap in them & are meant to be disposable.

 

I would pay 20k for a 1985 pickup with 24k miles and show room condition

Also keep in mind the $20k was the out the door price after taxes and fees. They had it listed at $20k but I negotiated them down to around $18k. Plus I had the trade in value of my Scion tC at about $8k that I used toward it.
