    We cranked up to 111 today. Supposed.to be 114 Wednesday then back down to 100-105-ish for a week or so. Last week I got out of my truck and, I don't know if you guys know that real hot and dry smell like when it's in extreme fire danger, it had that extreme fire danger smell. And it's nowhere near our extreme season yet. It was really pretty alarming. I went to that same spot today and it was fine and didn't have that "oh shit" feeling.

    I don’t know how you deal with 115° temps for days and days. We get up there occasionally throughout the summer and that’s more than enough.

    I do know that smell and I don’t care for it either.
