Same here, since I'm pulling doors off might as well upgrade the speakers

Yes. Do the speakers. Easy mod when you already have the door panels off. Will only add a few minutes of time.

Edit: I took my speakers off anyway to run the wiring for the boots so it really is an option, but I already upgraded mine.

Got my puddles today, install took about an hour and a half. That's with rewiring some lights I had wired to a DSIM rock light module. Decided to tear the module out rather than mess with splicing wires. IMG_20190610_213939.jpg

Just installed my puddles and it looks great. Only criticism I have is that I wished the harness going across the dash was a few feet longer; I did not have enough harness to go under either carpet and only a few inches to spare while making my final connection, anybody else run into the same problem? @MESO how much would charge to make a 3ft harness from the T-harness to the longer harness?

I just barely had enough to go behind the carpet. An extra foot would've been helpful.

Edit: Forgot to add that they are awesome and fit and finish is great!

I did a quick glance at the install instructions, I assume you undo the wire plugs behind the side kick panels to gain better access to the holes in order to go through the boots?

Yeah and I pulled the boot off the cab and the door for ease of pulling the wire through. Definitely recommend pulling the speaker, takes 30 seconds and makes it easier.

i found that unplugging them allows me to get the boot completely out and STRAIGHT to pass the Meso wire through much easier.

I can't imagine not unplugging them and getting the wire through. That would be brutal.

Yeah, mine had the perfect amount. I was a little worried when I was running the wires but it ended up just right.

Man I haven't been in the audio world for a while since my last car came with decent audio. Speaker prices are cheap now, I just ordered some Kickers from crutchfield front and rears with all the adapters and harness for 140 shipped.
