MONSTER! Is the shop in a direct line with your driveway on a smooth paved road? Good start taking off the fender flares. When you hit that school zone speed bump you'll be bending pinch welds, removing wheel well skirts, finding a shop for the CMC and regearing. Hold on to those 33s for a bit before you commit to the 35s.

But be careful if you wheel, doesn't look like it has much flex to give...

 

So here’s the thing. My over fenders are already removed. My pinch welds are already hammered flat, my CMC is already beveled and aggressive, and I’m actually cutting my body fenders back 2” tomorrow or so. I’ve done all of those things and I have some solid positive castor adjustment accommodated with total chaos UCA. You can’t drive with 35’s on a -25 offset wheel like mine without doing those things first.

 

I wheel hard and often! I am cutting back my body fenders 2” possibly tomorrow. And not wheeling until that is done obviously It would be a joke

You've definitely done your homework and pre-setup chops! Now it's time to sell off those 33s.

 

Sounds good. I'm only @ 265s now 285 are nxt set so until then I'll be doing cmc full aggressive & pinch welds hammered/painted. Then nxt set will be the dirty fives! I'll probably keep 33s for daily & 35s for wheeling.

Lucky for me I barely commute 3 miles ROUND TRIP & maybe 7500 miles a year. It makes more sense for me to buy a $3000 corolla dd than it does to have 2 sets of wheels and tires

What you gonna do about the holes where your fender flares were?

 

I installed suspension from a 2019 TRD off-road. Got my tires road force balanced and took off the center caps. Might put them back on but I like the different look for now.

 

Nothing. It’s a black truck. It gets used hard, so it’s far from perfect. I’m ok with fender holes just like I’m ok with scratches and dents. Filling those holes takes a lot of time and I have way too many other projects to prioritize before that one (if I ever do it) but I likely won’t ever do it

Dude. Dont spend 50 bucks on a foam cannon. My 15 dollar Amazon one works just as good as my friends 50 dollar chemical guys one.
