Too bad I no longer live in Cali. Did you go with a different setup? Anything you didn't like about these shocks? Really leaning towards this type of setup.

These shocks are great. My dealer I bought the truck from was giving me shit for my non factory falcon shocks which is BS. So they wouldn’t complete the recall for the radar sensor also wouldn’t replace my visor that’s making all kinds of noise because of the (aftermarket suspension). So I asked them if I had the trd pro factory shocks if they would do the recall and they said yes. So I found a set of pro shocks that needed a little work new lower bushings and shock boots, fixed those and installed them. Took the truck to the dealer and guess what they still won’t do it cause of my 1.5 inch add a leaf in the rear. So Instead is pulling the pro shocks off and putting these back on and getting another alignment I decided to sell these.

Thanks for the input. Yeah wondering if getting Fox shocks would be easier when taking my Taco to the dealer since PROs have Fox on them. And somewhat the industry standard when jumping from OEM shocks.

These shocks are yuuuge in the jeep community and probably what i'm going with on my "18" Rubicon.

It’s not going to make a difference at the dealer. They are going to find anyway to deny the warranty if they are picky. The guy tried to tell me the ride it too firm and that’s why my visor makes noise. I was like the springs are literally factory that came on this specific truck in the front. I asked them what if the truck is used Offroad like the side of the truck says. Im going to try another dealer. Apparently the one I bought it from, and have also bought and paid off 3 cars in the past is not willing to replace a $60 part under warranty.

First off. I'm sorry to hear about the dealer issues and I hope you get that resolved. Second... I don't live in CA or I may pick these up from you..I'm wondering if you could choose between these or the TRD PRO foxes which would you rather have? Thanks

After running both the falcon shocks and the trd pro foxes for about 5,000 miles each I would probably choose the falcons. The shocks are very comparable but I like that fact that the falcons front are height adjustable and the rears are adjustable when hauling and towing which makes pretty significant difference. I may swap back to the falcons if nobody buys these soon. I did do the same trail a few
times with each set of shocks and went from washboard roads, to small rocky roads, deep sand, small whoops and some larger rocks and the truck got fully flexed out a few hundred times. They have about the same amount of travel, they both don’t make any noise when they top out or bottom out, and they ride very similar. With the falcons I used the foam bump stops that came with the shocks which are great and with the trd shocks I used duro bumps front and rear. So they were very fair comparisons.

Got these in November 2018. I would have no problem setting up a warranty return with them if something was wrong with them. Teraflex is really good with there warranty.
