Go circle jerk around a skottle in a parking lot with a bunch of weird europeans again. Enjoy your KOA camping. Can't wait to hear about how "overland" your trip was.

I literally had called it advanced camping but you're too quick to jump people's shit who dont do it your way that you forgot to read. Sorry i could afford to camp onsite at an event considering how hard it is for me to walk and set up or take down my camp. The convenience was nice. But as you so eloquently said on your other fan page about my handicap... you dont care.

Isn't part of the expo, camping at the expo so you can partake in the the vendor parties?

Parking off site seems dull. I payed to camp, met some awsome people had good fun with the vendors. Off site seems antisocial. Much like your post.

Bringing all of the comforts without calling yourself an overlander. I'm not running Africa or South America or something. Just using overland-friendly gear to camp in an advanced way.

So it’s the same as “overlanding”, just without using that word?

But “overlanding” is just vehicle based travel where the journey is the main goal?

So in turn “advanced camping” is the same thing?

So where does it say that you need “all the comforts”?

It sounds like what you do is more along the lines of pretentious glamping. Just saying.

Watched your whole shit show about “what you have to have to be an overlander” on Facebook and thought that was the most retarded and pretentious thing I’ve seen lol. Who the fuck cares about the gear you have, just go camp and have fun.

Guys I just took and advanced shit. I brought a phone, wet wipes, newspaper and a light snack to the bathroom. All the creature comforts.

Seems like the majority of TW members have dick measuring contests on what gear and how you camp.

If I recall, your post that really stirred all the shit on the other page was you calling the DMC crew a bunch of "Wannabe expo posers" because they didn't fit your mold of what whatever the fuck it is you think you do on the weekends.

News flash, those guys take trips 10x longer than anything you've ever done on the regular and they don't need any rotopax or other over priced flashy gear to do it. You could probably learn a thing or two from them if you pulled your head out of your ass long enough to get some fresh air.

And you're spot on correct, I don't give a fuck about you or your pity party. :crybaby:

If you're going to go for days between resources, you're gonna need more than a JetBoil and a full tank of gas. That's where overland gear comes in reallly handy. It's not pretentious, it's being prepared. And why not be comfortable? If I want to be uncomfortable and go with the basics just to go camping, I'll do some more multi-hundred mile backpacking trips and suck it ut. When I'm in the truck, I like luxuries. So, I care about the gear I have because it makes my camping experience much easier. I had to learn how to walk again over the holidays late last year, so yeah this shit really helps me out when I don't have to set up a Walmart tent, manage a bunch of cheap crap totes, have a rig that can't handle where I want to go, etc. Not everyone lives your life and you don't know the battles that people are fighting.

True. Don’t get me wrong, I love buying gadgets. That’s half the fun!

Just some people try to swing their dick around haha

    Side note:

I know why though, when they helicopter their dick it stretches and makes it look bigger lol

You had me on the advanced pooping up until snacks. That's just unsanitary. Also why a newspaper and phone? Couldn't you just get the news from the phone? I mean it does cover a larger spectrum than a single newspaper. Maybe instead of the newspaper a neck pillow or cushioned seat would be better.

Do you only bring one set of maxtrax when you go advanced camping? Exactly. Have to have a backup plan.
