Finally out of the garage. Shout out to @GA_Goat for the TRD spare and to the random CL guy for the other one.

    - Will be using a tow eye and pintle hitch instead of a ball. Also, the current hitch in there is from the 5th gen which had a 3" drop. The pintle will be straight.

    - Need some suggestions on mounting supports for the 4 corners to level it with the tent

    - Seed some suggestions on how long to make the hitch mount. I figure I will make it long enough to almost be able to make a sharp turn, but no longer than that.'

    - Also need some fender suggestions. Not sure if I should go with something plastic/flexible/light or something that is rigid that could support the weight of someone standing on it.

    Thinking of these:

What axle did you use? I need to refurb my decade-old Harbor Freight trailer and using Taco spares seems like a great idea. The spindle and bearings are shot on my trailer anyways, so just using a bigger axle and Taco wheels may be a cheap win.

Mine is a 5x8. Used this axle to clear the larger tires. Then you just need springs and hubs (6x5.5)

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

90's alternative just doesn't get the praise it deserves.

During the 90s so many bands came out that had their own sound. The radio was actually good to listen to. Did I mention I was in a band called Saliva, in which we would lay down some sickness that brought teens from all corners of Macon Ga! Oh how I miss the days of my Distortion pedals! Hell I was Tenacious D, before they even existed. I can spit mad fire!
