I know a guy that may be ready to sell his front and rear diffs with 4.88s and arb lockers....idk. I may not. I plan on taking my wheels and tires and putting them on the 4r. I may take my factory wheels and find some 35" AT tires and put on the truck.

It would be a nice way to meet both of our goals, but that is way too low for me I think. After talking with some other MT guys it seems the 4.30 is the ideal ratio for 35's. It basically makes everything back to stock. I'm thinking with that the speedo should also be right. Damn, forgot about needing a front locker when doing diffs, which means a compressor as well. There are always $500-$1000 things in the way of my wants!

better than staring out the window because you have nothing to legitimately do, but are required to put the time in!!

It has allowed me to coordinate a TW express for an ARB bumper which was in next years plans....so counterproductive to the wallet, but inside I'm like a kid in the candy store. Unfortunately, when bored I plan things for the truck. It is getting expensive. But being short staffed has placed training on the back burner. I don't agree with that approach, but hey if they want to pay me for nothing and have people that don't know how to do their jobs who am I.

that's the problem it is all new to me, so i'm learning and spending money. I used to do the same when I was huge into hunting. I would just sit and read article after article. Unfortunately, TW is the only reliable source I have found for Tacoma's, and my obsession of the moment. I read about something i'd like to do and the rabbit hole just consumes me.

No sense asking for advice if I'm not going to use the information. With the realization of adding a compressor and locker though, re-gear is definitely out this year. I wish I could've taken advantage of unchained5150's dual compressor in the cubby mount. That thing should have flown out of his garage.

First shift? What the Hell is that!?

Actually I don't mind working 3rd/graveyard. Less management around and if all the machines are running and our inspections are done we are free to do whatever. Although some nights all shit seems to do is break and we're running around fixing them!

I’m in the same boat. Septic gets fixed Thursday. I could have done a lot with that money.

I've been on second shift (2pm-10pm) for just over two years. I was forced to be on this shift because of how seniority panned out. We are currently in the middle of a shift picking where we all pick our shifts. Someone senior to me bumped me out of the shift I'm on. It's bittersweet because I've grown to like my shift and the people in work with on second. We work very well together. July 1 will be my first day with the new shift.

Now I'll have to be on first shift (6am-2pm) but I'll be in the shop. This means I'm basically a grunt doing the manual labor for different things. I like the hours, but haaaaaatttte the people in the shop. They're all a bunch of whiney bitches and don't like it when I tell them how it is. No one really likes me in the shop. I also don't give a fuck whether they like me or not. I'm here to do a job, not make friends. It's going to suck, but the hours are decent. Gotta take the good with the bad I guess.

 Yes I have this one mod that’s called stock. It will be that way for a little bit.

I’m adding up all the money I will need to do the work around the house and the truck just needs to get me to and from work right now. :(

I really did. My own work truck, tons of freedom, decent coworkers. I'll have none of that now, but I'll be done work at 2pm. I'll have to get used to waking up to an alarm clock again

I still visit that thread, a lot of cool little ideas, or ways to get your brain working on small mods to improve daily use of the truck. Hell I spent two hours on it last night as a break between topics in my paper so I wouldn't get burn out.
