Where and how much? Want to get one for the GX but don’t want to be poor from it either

 

I recently upgraded my truck security system, I swapped the grey underwear on the front seat for white so that's the first thing someone looking in the window will see. No one wants to mess with other people's underwear so that should make them go somewhere else.

 

Got it from a cop on CL for $400

 

I make block ice with bread loaf pans and then ziploc the blocks to keep things dry. Takes a little pre planning but I had great luck with it before buying our 12v fridge freezer. I had thought about vacuum bagging the blocks to make them last longer but never got around to it.

 

I like to freeze water in the 1/2 gallon juice containers. I take em out after camping and toss em back in the chest freezer. I hate bringing home $200 worth of sloppy soggy food and tossing it.

 

Shit I keep forgetting to do this and am about to go to Utah for two weeks. Thanks for the reminder!!

 

I’ve wanted this in the all weather for the back of my taco for so long, but at 3500$ new...

 

What brand is it? Is it gx specific or a generic one?

Its a truckvault magnum from out of a Suburban I think. Its like 15 years old.

They also make different gun lockers. I have their Shotlock for my 12g it’s pretty rad.

 

Their customer support is awesome. the dude i talked to spent an hour on the phone helping me modify it to work in my GX and offered to rebuild the lock the next time im up that way

 

And not those shitty blocks made from pressed cubes! Real block ice like gramma used to make!

Haha, my grandma always used to keep 3-4 half gallon milk cartons of water with a drop of bleach to keep it clean in the freezer just for emergency situations.

Yup we use a combo of ice and then we freeze our plastic OJ and milk too. Make them nice and cold!

 

I go with a dry ice/regular ice combo. I understand that this may damage some coolers so make sure yours is compatible.
