What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I've had my foam cannon from Amazon for 2 years now, never have had an issue. Although, I do use chemical guys soap, and other car care products. 50 bucks for a "branded" cannon is just stupid imo

I usually do mine by hand . Then I’m sore for the rest of the day . I hand washed ,clay barred and waxed yesterday. Then today used the DA polisher for the second time ever ,bought it last year . I just use it to spread the White Light stuff then buffed it off by hand

 

And doesn’t appear stolen! Looks good.

 

Have the same 2000x2500 with the ARB L brackets. Didn’t have time to install before leaving for deployment. Looking forward to installing with my ARB full enclosure screen room. Thanks for the photos! Looks great!!

Ya, I do wash, clay bar and wax by hand as well. I just have a few areas in the paint that are starting to oxidize that likely need a polisher.

You'll have to post pictures when you get it mounted with those L brackets so we can see how tall it ends up sitting. The full enclosure will be so nice for you. too! Be safe out there!

That’s what I mean, product reviews. I wrote a review on an actual product (not seller feedback) and it was deleted pretty quick, cause I left 2 stars for saying some LED bulbs didn’t fit well at all. They left my 4 star reviews for other product I bought from them up.

I sure will post pics. I see that with the enclosure the height limit is 85”. I’m mounting to the L brackets on top of the Prinsu on a double cab with a 3.5” lift. I should be good, but I’ve not measured the roof height. I doubt it’s over 7’ at the awning horizontals, so it should make the room nice and tight once staked down. Expect pics around the 13th of July!!

 

I haven't found one person that actually knows what they are talking about, say not to use plugs. Its usually someone regurgitating something their tire shop told them, just so they could sell them a new tire.

I need to get some of the self vulcanizing plugs, I am still old school with rubber cement.

 

Cut back all fenders by 2.5” with a jigsaw and fine tooth blade. Then took a grinder to the edges followed by a sanding block. Now I’m adding the Trail Toys “better edge trim”. FOR NOW, I chopped the end off my intake tube and threw on a $25 SPECTRE filter. I’m sealing off the inner fender intake hole and I’ll cut some vents into the plastic that I cover it with so that some air still gets put up into the filter. No snorkel for me. Not now anyway.

I shall look into those. Are you familiar with the Hutchinson bead locks? I am not certain that they can be used in those wheels at least with the TPMS sensor as it sits central on the bead lock itself and may be an interference with the balance beads. I know of a member (@bullaculla) with the same wheels is using balance beads in his set up though.

Messing around with routing wires for my navigation.
I have to move some wires around so this weekend I'll be pulling my center console and panel beneath the radio.

 

You did so well in the cuts it doesn’t need trim! Great job!
