Any play is too much play, there should be zero play in a balljoint or rod end

 

It said on the site that they didn't come with them so I figured I'd just put 8 in the cart, since they're only around a buck a piece. If they end up coming with bolts then I'll just throw the others in my tool kit for later

 

they're only $5 ea at the dealer so may as well

 

Isn't there something like .05" range of acceptable play? I figure whatever it is it's probably barely enough to notice with the naked eye, and the play I have is noticeable. So time to change them out I guess

Also started getting an occasional click/clunk from the front/right turning in 2wd on the street which could be related, don't want to take any chances

 

That's actually a damn good deal for OEM LBJ's, most other sites I looked at were around $300 or more for the whole shebang.

 

Now I got to check mine I’m scared. And I got cheap ass ones from rockauto 2 years ago.
