Alright, fess up, how many of you have jumped your Tacoma?

I've jumped it twice and broke the mounting tab on the passenger headlight, most likely from landing nose first.

haha I admit I've jumped it about the same height as well (on accident) and funny enough I also broke a headlight tab only mine is driver side.

Haven't fixed it I think I'll finally glue it back together this weekend :/

I've never jumped mine. Don't see a need and pros definitely don't outweigh the cons. I don't like beating on my shit.

    Hell yes...

Screw all that BS over-landing lame-O stuff or 0.1mph crawling, just send it.

You are gonna wanna do the following tho:

-64" or 62" leaf springs with 16" 3.0 bypass shocks out back (4-link if you got the cash?)
-Solo Motorsports 18" LT kit upfront with all the bells n whistles (don't get any other mickey mouse "LT" kit)
-full fiberglass to tuck the 35" tires
-roll cage to save your life when you eventually go end over end

    here is some motivation:

If you want to jump a vehicle, build something that can take it.

You need more practice. Keep at it until you get it right. I remember seeing the General Lee jumped on the Dukes of Hazard hundreds of times. The front end would get all crumpled up on landing, but just seconds later it would be OK.

Why? Because they practiced a LOT.

It's like anything else. The more you practice, the better you get.

Nice to hear someone actually using the truck's RPM range, as opposed to the "no power below 2k rpm, what gives" comments.

    Amazing trails too!

If you got the extra coin to be running a $50k truck off the rails, you really don't need our advice.

I wish I had you problems.

Not to be unpopular here, but I laugh to myself when there’s no turnouts and people who like to jump and drive fast on established public land dirt roads eat my dust for awhile. I’ve had too many close calls getting hit head-on by idiots racing around blind corners and by those who think they have the right of way when they are going downhill.
