I should mention, the mounting bracket would be 3d printed. If I can get my printer fairly well calibrated I can print a bunch off and send them with the harness. Regardless I'll share the file for free if anyone wants to print it themselves.

That looks Nice! I wired my switch so the letter lighting comes on when my head lights are on, instead of all the time, but I may just ditch that and use yours. Not rushing you, but :spending:

Since people need to put this switch in so many different places, it was too difficult to come up with a PnP way to get a dash light circuit. It is easy enough to modify if you want to do it that way though.

Here are some pictures of my initial routing for the harness. The glove box sits right in front of the 4x4 ECU and when it is installed doesn't leave any room for wires to come straight out. I found that I could remove the upper plug from whatever computer is next to it and route the new harness under it and to the right to get it out of the way and secure. From there, the relay wiring can be tucked down toward the kick panel and secured there near where the door wiring exits. It's a nice easy spot to get to in the unlikely event that the relay needs to be replaced. The switch wiring can then be routed anywhere you like from there. It would be trivial to get it up to the overhead console, and easily routed above the glove box to the center console or left of the steering wheel. There is 8 feet of wire for the switch, and any extra can be zip tied to the metal subframe above the glove box.

I don't think a bracket for the relay is even required. There is a clip to retain it in the socket that isn't on in the pictures.

    Awesome update!

I was just going to comment on putting a small zip tie around the relay body and across the underside of the socket to make sure it didn't wiggle it's way loose with vibration. The clip sounds like a much better idea.

Yep, the clips are like $0.20 each or something silly. If you're super paranoid, you can add a wrap of electrical tape around the clip. I'll snap a picture of it tonight.

If I have time I will also be looking at final pricing. I am hoping to have a sale post up by the weekend. First two rounds of people that expressed interest I will be sending a group message to with the order form. The vendor says their lead time is only about a week, so the custom buttons may be what determines ship date to everyone.

fwiw, this is the one I got from CH4X4 in the "old" blue. The X in the front diff signifies to me it's disconnected.

That's what I originally got, but everyone was saying it was the symbol for the locker, which according to the ISO symbol site I linked is "correct". It doesn't matter to me what people want, so I can make it an option. When I order the custom switches I can order in any quantity, size, orientation, color, and symbol combination.
