    All of this^

    My first comment to the dealer when I drove a Gen 3 two years ago was "my 4-cyl had way more get up and go, this can't weigh that much more". If I didn't love the truck so much and if they didn't have the longevity/resale they do the throttle response would have ended it for me right there.

    Thanks for the update Mat, exciting news!

    I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this before, but here goes -

    From day one, my truck has been like a limp dick when trying to get moving on a reasonably steep incline. Slip the clutch, add throttle and start moving up... then just when you get the clutch out all the way and you want to start accelerating, the engine seems very "lazy" and then will lurch after the RPM comes up a few hundred. I would think with 4.30 axles and our 1st gear ratio, we have enough of an advantage that the engine shouldn't have trouble with this. To me it feels artificial, and could indeed be related to the tables you spoke of. I'm not speaking of mashing the gas, btw.
    Removing the accumulator from the clutch hydraulic circuit has helped in this scenario, because at least now I know exactly when the damn thing will engage.

    This 1000% . My 22re 4runner can get going on a steep hill better. Seems the more throttle i give it, the more it struggles to accelerate. That poor clutch. funny thing is, when i bought the truck with the extended warranty, they made a point the say "this does not include the clutch" multiple times.
