    its a extang..
    1. layed it out and cut the rails to the length I wanted
    2. put the cover on , snap down the sides as far up as I thought they should go,
    3. just played with the curve using chalk to lay it out
    4. after a bunch of times drew out the curve, added 1" inlength for the seam and loop
    5. inserted a bungee cord in the loop and cut off the ends
6 put a gromet in the corners

just go slow and do a layout ..sometimes on cardboard is better to get ideas on fit etc...

Been getting bored with the truck. New project. Stay tuned.

These headlights will not be the same as it came from the box when I’m done with them.

Maybe on another truck I’ll do bumpers winch the whole shabang but I wanted to keep this truck as clean as possible. I think I’ll pull the trigger on a stealth box next tho

@Lefkos I need to find a passenger side headlight & I'm gonna give my first attempt @ retrofit. If all goes well maybe even retrofit my KC lights too.

Finished up putting some decals on the door and hood. At 77 I have done all the big you younger are doing, So to keep my interest up I do the simple easier on the body things. Thus the decals. Like the ones on the doors. Have mixed feelings on the hood decals. Can alway get the hair dryer out and take them off, will give it few days. During my working career I was a nonuniformed employee of the CHP and worked the last 25 with the Patrol worked various enforcement vehicles part of the job was putting the decals on the cars. Also put special on the special cars they used. put thousands of Stars on, so these were not to hard. Next project under hood and bed lights
