Need brake controller help!

2010 Tacoma Trd with tow package. I have been trying to figure out the wiring harness for a brake controller.
From my research it looked like I needed the Tekonsha 3040-p harness but it does not fit the only port I found that is free.

Is this the right place to plug into for brake controller?

 

In my 2010 it was this one. There should be a pigtail that comes with the truck that you can wire to work. That's what I did. I wired it to a 4-pin trailer plug, then wired the controller to the opposite side of the 4-pin plug. That way I could always change the controller if I needed to.

 

It comes in the glovebox

 

This is what Iv been looking for but cannot find it. I don’t think what I’m holding is what I need and Im stumped.

 

Keep digging. It's in there. It took me a while to find the first time

 

Mine was WAYYYY up there on the back side of the wiring loom. Had to cut some of the tape loose to find it. That was the hardest part. It is up and behind the big wire bundle on the drivers side up above the brake.

 

It’s a bitch to get to. It took me hours to find. It was buried in tape inside and on the back of the big bundle of wire by the ebrake pedal under the dash.
