I've been putting in old work outlet boxes in my house and tucking them behind things like the TV on the wall and certain furniture pieces. Really helps keep things tidy and makes my ocd happy. The only tricky part is getting past fire blocks behind your drywall between studs if you have them.

I’ve been toying with putting my whole receiver setup in the closet behind where the tv in the living room is hung. From what I know the remotes are radio not IR, any reason this shouldn’t work?

Even if you have IR based remotes they make extenders for them.

Like pcbuilder said just get the extension and hide the little ir bulb somewhere you're remote can see. It's so nice having the tv hung on the wall with the soundbar under it and nothing else! Especially with a 2 year old who loves to yank on everything. It's just drywall

Yea don't go nuts but it's an option if you'll be there for a long time. Or just live with the cord :)
I'm trying to keep mine universal in the event that we sell.

Does this apply to radio frequency remotes (directv) as well?

1.5” holesaw, route cord to nearest unseen outlet. Worst case scenario it’s an easy drywall patch for the next owner.

I don't have experience there but I can't imagine itd have trouble getting through. Try going to a different room in your house and changing the channel

If you can use sandpaper, you can patch drywall and make it look decent.

Truck drives good again! SX is back in action!

Gonna go to Powell this weekend and out the bad ass motor mounts in Frank and then Frank's old ones in the SX. Will need a clutch probaby by the end of the year and we will see if I cave and put AC in it

Eh they are poly. But yes. They don't bother me in Frank ever so should be fine for this. Be kind of fun for the instant torque to haha

Frank new ones are also poly but the other all mounts are way beefier.

Yeah I did Frank's a long time ago. Surprised I haven't had to do Igor's given the mileage. But doesn't seem to be going out.

It's not, I have no time for it at the moment. Aside from fencing I've been building garden planters after work for people and doing side excavation jobs. Then Bass practice takes up any free time after that :goingcrazy:. I'll get back to it eventually but its going to be awhile.

Trying to decide if I wanna try turboing the lil truck this summer just for shits.
