I second that! It's actually the comradery of the "good people" on this forum that have kept me coming back, probably even more than the mods! Nice to share with mainly like minded folks! On another note, I got rid of my Ridge Grapplers, trying out the Cooper XLT! So far I like them. 7 lbs lighter and 65,000 mile warranty. The Grapplers didn't wear well for me and no mileage warranty.20190518_131644.jpg

Yesterday I ordered my lift, wheels, and tires.
Bilsteins 5100's with OME 888 and AAL
    17 in Fuel Vectors
    285/70r17 KO2's
I know I technically haven't done the mod yet but I am beyond excited and this is the only place I have where people will be excited with me LOL (certainly my wife isn't too pumped about it). I've always dreamed of owning a lifted truck but have always gone the economical route with past vehicles.

I third that! BTW did I say your truck looks awesome! That’s what this forum is all about; support and encouragement for our mods in the face of endangerment from our spouses! There are however those who have luxury of a supportive spouse .... far and few between but very good for those that do! Count your blessings fellas!

Hell yeah, if you can't buy it then you have to build it! You will definitely have the only one.
Built a snorkel for my FJ a couple years ago out of aluminum, it was a fun project.

Thanks for the compliment! I definitely consider you guys that I sit and read your posts and look at your trucks every night as I sit in my recliner dozing off from a hard day of work, "friends", that I haven't met in person! For the most part anyway! And my wife is fairly supportive of my truck although she does give me some teasing about it. I just make sure if I get something for my truck I20180704_142820.jpg 20180704_142520.jpg make sure she gets something that I know she wants! Usually keeps the peace! LOL

The rack is Dissent off road out of Grass Valley Ca. It matches up perfectly with the cab rack and is super solid. Only weights 44 lbs. Fits over the softtopper and the side doors open to access the bed.

I am so lost in the truth of this image....

Our wallets are the only thing keeping our vehicles from rolling out of control. Your picture is so very artful at portraying this hard fact of life.
