That Holiday Inn is fairly new. That's cool you had an awesome time on those scooter. They're pretty fast and convenient.

Paris is actually passing a bunch of laws about where to park them and where to use them and stuff.

My buddy I was traveling with was with a company that used Holiday Inn for travel stays so he had rewards to use and we stayed for free. Pretty nice place and the location was nice.

Definitely convenient and plenty fast at 15-16MPH.

So I thought it was weird you had to snap a photo of the parking job but the more we saw them it made sense. Keep them semi organized and show that customers aren’t parking like idiots all over. SLC is nice since they have the bike lanes so well established and in general the roads are all super wide. I’m used to Boston with cobblestone and skinny streets. Much different vibe haha

I think the photo you take of the scooter upon return is to help identify the exact location of the scooter so that they can be pick up for the battery be recharged and to probably show the user did not cause any severe damage to the scooter.

The city has done the same thing already, as far as where you are supposed to ride them.

I am not going to lie, my wife and I have driven downtown just to ride the scooters...they are pretty fun!

Glad you had a good time! Sounds like you found some good local spots too.

Portland ME is a rad city, had my first “real” lobster meal there.

Its that warm season fun time. Took a wire wheel to the rock sliders and roof rack. Now time to get some spray on bed liner back on and ready for another year.

    Not much stock left.
No, but it wouldn’t surprise me with the winter and spring we’ve had.

Hey guys, I got some buddies comin down from Idaho next week to camp. I originally had planned on taking them up Mirror Lake hwy to camp and do a lot of fishing..but it looks like the earliest they will be plowing that road is the 17th...we're heading out the 18th or 19th so I'm thinking it probably won't be an option. Can you guys recommend any other areas that have some good dispersed camping and fishing? I'm located in the Lehi area but willing driving 2-3 hours. If you have any good locations, please send them my way!

I thought I had seen some pictures of people up Norway flats and such, looks like you might be ok going up Mirror Lake Hwy way. If not, maybe check out spots in the La-Sal Mountains. I was down in them closer to Manti area and it was nice. I bit mucky but we were greeted by a Hail/Snow/Rain/Lighting storm open arrival, it dried out by the next day though and we were around 9000 elevation

I went up Norway Flats last Saturday. Hit snow a couple miles up, impassable. I threw on my pack and hiked a couple miles until I was too cold and the snow was too deep. I'm sure it will get better in the coming weeks though.

    not enough.
I was on the road over memorial day. We were seriously concerned about the possibility of flooding and were planning on backtracking all the way backward on the third day. Night before we were planning on the backtrack, we ran into some rangers and talked with them and they said it was perfect conditions and we didn't need to back track. which saved us like 6 hours of driving. Loved the rangers for that information.

HOWEVER, I just checked the USGS website...You're not gonna be able to go through. It's definitely flooding. Canyonlands lists 15,500 CFS as flood level and it's currently at 25900 CFS and rising. here's the website:
    https://waterdata.usgs.gov/ut/nwis/...065,00060,62614,00010,00095,00400,00300,00045

Water levels should start coming down in the next few days. For example, Flaming Gorge dam will slowly reduce its release from 8500cfs to 1500cfs starting on June 17.
