I’m still learning about meal timing but this is how I do it. Doesn’t it mean it’s the right way but I know you have a fairly long gap from when you finish your workout before you get to work to eat...

I eat 50-60g protein as soon as my workout is over along with 1 pop tart. I consume them in the locker room while I’m changing or I’ll finish my workout and grab them to eat while I’m foam rolling or stretching. Then around 60-90min later I eat a full meal, usually lunch depending on what time I get to the gym.

Post workout window is 45-60 minutes after exercise. So eating directly after is ideal.

Want meals to be low fat but high protein and high carb.

Its definitely wild. Pretty sure “hard gainer” is an understatement. I looked sick. I eat way more now but my metabolism is still high and I’m currently 30 years old.

When I eat "terrible" I poop. I poop ALL DAY. I cannot gain weight on POOP FOOD lol. Before I lifted, I was same way. Mcd, BK, fast food, pizza rolls, junk, shit, etc. LOSE WEIGHT. It took me awhile to figure out I need "REAL" food. not processed junk. I can handle some, but it really depends what it is now-a-days.

    Looks great! Perfect.

See photo of what I looked like when I ate shit food

I would be doing food eating challenges if I had that metabolism.

What are you eating for that post workout 30-60g of protein? I’m slowly trying to add a little bit of weight. Never know what to eat after a workout.

Whey. Just add water. 50-60, not 30. That’s not enough

Oops, read that wrong. Haven't had my coffee yet, it's gonna be one of those days again, I can already feel it.

Time to order more protein. I think myprotein has like a 45% off sale right now which brings the price down a little from what it should be anyways

I just reup’d my supply. Word from the wise, don’t buy anything in 11lbs quantity. It’s a good deal price wise, but it took me 5mos to get through a bag of Snickerdoodle and I’ll never order that flavor again, and it was one of my faves :puke:

I usually grab the 2.2lb bags of mocha and vanilla for my orders. Gotta get back in to my morning protein smoothie/shake routine.

I've never used protein shakes much but do like Dymatize ISO 100 which is priced well and tastes good.

I'm actually going to try some Ghost products, specifically their Pump and BCAA. Really want to try STEEL supplements but the stuff I want is not WADA approved and I'm subject to random testing so that's out.

I got turned on to the myprotein.com place from @ThunderCookies a while back. Their prices seem to have gone up as it looks like they've "re-branded" but they always have "sales" to bring the prices down to what it was. Their flavors are all pretty solid.

Depending when I make them though and wht flavor I'll make a smoothie type thing though. Mocha protein powder, greek yogurt, spinach, cold brewed coffee, maybe a dash of almond butter, and a banana. Good shit.

I’ve noticed the price increase too. I thought they were a bit of an unknown but at The Arnold in Feb. they had one of the biggest booths and it was packed. I didn’t even both trying to get close.

When you first told me about them their prices were real good. Then they did a whole "rebranding" thing. All their packaging has changed and all that nonsense which probably drove their prices up. But they just do all those "sales" now which bring the prices back down so it makes it seem like they're the good guy company lol. Whatever. Their protein tastes the best of any I've ever had so I'll still buy from them

I agree. Their new bags are easier to close too. The old ones would get clogged with powder and id just have to fold and clip

The STEEL stuff isn’t WADA approved? Which stuff exactly?
