I've built a lot of snowmobile bridges over the years and that looks fine! Of course I never was the designer, just free labor. Now put 4 pieces of wood strapping running the length of it for carbide guides:D

Question for all you Mass folks.

A coworker was telling me that Mass is a no fault accident state, so does this mean if someone hits me, and it is clearly there problem its on me for my vehicle and personal damage?

No, I was involved in a hit and run accident a couple years ago and it all landed on the other driver.

No fault means that means your insurance covers your vehicle no matter who's fault the accident was. MA and NH are at-fault states, so the insurance company can go after whoever is at fault for the accident.

Looks fine to me. The only differences I'd have made would have been to use 4x4 PT instead of logs (just for longevity purposes) and to put a set of 8" runners lengthwise over your decking. Those would serve the dual purpose of distributing the load and also of keeping boards in place if the nails ever loosen up

    :notsure:

Edit- like so, but scaled down:

I guy braked to a stop about 50’ past a stop line and I was unable to stop. Couldn’t get around him,and rear ended him. I asked why he did that and he said because the light changed to red. I said back there is the line to stop at. I said let’s get to a safe place so we aren’t killed.
I paid the $55 or so to contest the mark against my driving record and my insurance going up.
3-4 months later and before my hearing I went and took pics of whole intersection as my evidence and I was found not more than 50% at fault and my insurance didn’t go up.

Fucking busy. Ton of maintenance on the FJ needs doing, but no time to do it.

Should have honked! Or stopped by, Sunday we are usually around doing meetings or just sitting on the couch.

I was actually going to do a 4x4 or 6x6 and decided to cheapen out a little. I’m thinking I could replace the logs with them in a few years? Threw down some extra stone to try to keep them a little drier.

I like the idea of running some boards on top too, and of course carbide runners for everyone.

There will be sleds at some point on these I’m sure so that’s a good idea I didn’t think of guys!

Let me know if you need me to test it... I flashed the Ski Doo ECU and re-clutched it for 192hp tune
