Mine fit perfectly. I thought I needed another inch or two, but I had a bit of slack I needed to take up. Mine is installed per instructions, so under carpet. Where are you taking the cable up to the pillar? That part isn't clear in the instructions (or wasn't when I installed), so I used a cable snake to push it up from directly underneath the pillar. Anything thin and long enough would work though. If you stick your head down there and look up, it's a pretty big target so it's not very difficult.

Edit - I'm an idiot. I used a fishtape, not a cable snake, lol.

Yep, under the carpet, and straight up below the a pillar. Had extra that I tucked under the carpet.

It's about an issue with other lights - busy man and all, but first time having to ask for help isn't so smooth...

Its funny how the tweeters costs almost as much as the front and rear speakers but its well worth the cost.

I don't see how it is too short. I ran mine under the carpet and all and I still had some slack it seems.

The only thing I can think of is if they accidentally used the drivers extension on the passenger side. I measured my truck multiple times and made sure to even leave extra in the final length.

I went behind both carpets, under the center dash. I wasn't short, but could have used an extra foot or so for better fitment. I don't see how this 1 guy was so short.

Could have left slack in the door and not pulled through the boot all the way. Only other location where you can use up slack besides carpet running.

I think it was a no go. Didn't have the same plastic piece to pop out. Would have required drilling. It's in the first 6ish pages of the thread.

I'm also curious about this. The stock JBL speakers looked a little sad.
