Sorry for your loss but am really glad you walked away.
I wish people would leave their damn phones alone when they are driving.
I just about got sideswiped the other day because some teeny bopper was texting and steering with her knee.
When I honked at her for almost taking me out, she flipped me off and went right back to texting. :brianr:

Was almost rear-ended the other day. Girl behind me was on her phone. She didn't see me stop, then slammed on her brakes. Luckily I was paying attention to her. I left a good car length in front of me, so I was able to roll forwards before she slammed into me. After she came to a screeching halt, she was back on her phone.

That sucks! Not a spec of rust on that beauty, same to see it beat up like that. And it's amazing that it crawled out of the ditch. I am glad you are OK but this is a huge bummer for Taco lovers.

Never Never Modify! Keep it aggravation free!
Glad you are OK! I sometimes regret buying my new truck. Here in New Jersey accidents happen constantly. It seems people are driving way too fast and are distracted with phones and who knows what else. My 2008 was hit in the rear when I was stopped at a red light. It was a distracted 400 pound lard ass on her phone all drugged up. Its stressful having anything nice anymore. Good luck with the insurance company.

Using any hand held device while driving should be a $1,000 fine and 6 points! :annoyed:
Same with left lane bandits! :annoyed:

thanks for all the replies fellas, it was great driving her. Her insurance is taking care of me as they should and valued it at 22k. I let her go, Im already pre approved and on the hunt for another. Wont go to any further details of the accident but i will be compensated, and yes distracted drivers are the worst kind of drivers right there with intoxicated.

yeah they did, I went and purchased some stock 6 lug wheels and crappy tires for 60$ all 4. The collusion center was really cool about swapping them out

A bit of a side track...

The most egregious I saw was a dude texting while riding a motorcycle. All of a sudden, traffic slowed from 70 to 40 on a two lane highway. No accident, traffic wasn’t stop and go. A mile or so, it looked like a drunk motorcyclist weaving between the lanes. People were shooting by him when they could. I get up behind him and the guy was texting on a cell phone. He was pulling one of those tiny trailers. He too gave me the finger as I was blasting my horn.
