    OP, some have tried bicycle inner tubes, etc. I ordered a twin pack of Rakboot from OZ and they work great just not cheap. At the time I believe they were about $50 shipped. Otherwise be creative. Ford resorted to some type of plastic snap on cover for the same problem but I have not seen the thing.

    If you made that work on a stock no body lift truck then that may be a good shaft for us with 1" body lift. The shafts on our trucks with a 1" BL are pulled farther apart at that same connection and that may restore the amount of shaft inside the coupling like it was when stock. But then again thats a 5 lugger so who knows what that shaft is in relation to a 4x4

    Is that the intermediate shaft? I just started reading up on the issues associated with it (sticky steering/flat spot), as I just started having this happen on mine. It looks like a relatively easy fix?
