Not surprised. With its underpowered engine and garbage shift points (AT). Mine goes into sixth then down shifts to fifth when I use my big toe to accelerate and if I give it anymore than that it’ll shift into fourth gear engine screaming away lol

If y’all look on CarGurus, there’s a surprising number of used 2020 Gladiators already for sale, with anywhere from 300 to 3,500 miles on the odometer.

Didn't you get the memo? It’s all part of the driving experience...and we are supposed to like it!

I doubt they would be sold through regular dealers around the country.

10 years down the road, the Taco will still be rolling strong while the others are stuck at the mechanic.

I'm just glad there is competition for the Tacoma. Toyota really needs to step up their game in this segment of trucks. Crappy payload, plastic bed, weak engine, etc. They really need to start focusing the Tacoma to be actually a usable truck and not focus on infotainment, radar, lane change, BS!

The Tacoma should as least have the same capabilities as the Hilux. Come on Toyota of NA!

2018 Hilux has a payload capacity of 2500 lbs.

Funny enough, I turned lane departure off. I can’t stand it. And I wish I could disable the “adaptive” part of the cruise control, too.

My 17 is quite usable. You should try one out sometime. It even still tows at 42k miles. 0 complaints with the engine. None. Plastic bed is great IMO, one less thing to rust out lol.

    Payload does suck though.

That’s the reason I wouldn’t buy one even if I had unlimited funds.

Please do tell! All I’ve found is a button to adjust the sensor distance, but it reverts back to longest distance.

i suffered through the whole video. the colorado was scraping it's front valence- that things sits too low! the ranger was the best of the of the three non-tacos. The gladiator is an abomination it's so ugly. maybe with bigger tires on it.......it would look better/good.

of the four, the taco looks best.
of the four the gladiator looks worst.
of the four, the best offroad would probably be a taco or the gladiator- not sure here. The gladiator is way longer than the taco. The taco they tested was a sport and not the slightly better off-road model. The jeep was a trail rated jeep- are they all trail rated?

how the taco got in 4th is beyond me.

the ranger/colorado look like any other pickup.

the taco/gladiator stand out, even if the gladiator is butt ugly..

    i like my yota....
