The crossbars fold 90 degrees and tuck inside the rails. They're not a separate piece.

My wife got me a new grill with LEDs for Father's day. My 5 year old goes "daddy, now the front of your truck looks like all the other tacomas at camp!"

I'm really impressed at the quality for the price. Here's the one she got: https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Front-...TRD-PRO-16-19-W-3-PCS-LED-Lights/283498646805 It was only $90 shipped, and came with the 3 "raptor" LEDs. It was a bit weird when I opened it, where the TOYOTA logo is had a different logo saying "LIMITED." It came off with 6 screws, and the "YOYOYA" logo was in the box. Packed separately were 2 Ts, allowing me to make it say TOYOTA. Weird, but whatever.

Install, including splicing it into the foglights, took under 2 hours.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I want the version that just says

Hey guys! Havent posted in a while but pop in and follow along from time to time. I have a question and value the opinions here. The time has come to replace the brakes on my '09 Prerunner and was given an Amazon gift card... What is the general opinion on the Power Stop kits? Ive got a little brake drag on the front drivers side and want to replace both the calipers, too. Has anyone here used them? Any idea how they hold up to the Ga heat, random brake checks, and general insanity on the roads? I bought the truck 3 yrs ago and it had a little brake pulse... After replacing, I dont want that to come back. I've read its a common problem with the OEM brakes if youre a hard stop type driver or do a lot of heavy towing. I'm a gentle driver and avoid stabbing and hard stops as much as possible. I do tow, but not all the time and use my Expy for heavier stuff.

    Thanks for input in advance!

You really can't beat the quality of the OEM stuff. I don't have any first hand experience with the Power Stop kits, but I think you can spend your money more wisely.

if you plan to replace the calipers as well, I would highly recommend looking into the 4Runner/GX brake upgrade.

    - wait, before I make that suggestion, you need to have at least 17" wheels -

IIRC, the factory Tacoma rotor is 12" and the 4Runner/GX rotor is 13" (whatever the actual numbers, there is a 1" difference). The reason for the smaller rotors on the Taco is that most of the 2nd gens came with 16" wheels.

Parts to replace include dust shield, caliper, rotor, pads. It does require removing the hub to replace the dust shield. If you've never pulled that off before, it could be a pain in the rear. Someone on TW did a write-up that gives part numbers and actual stopping distance improvement numbers.

If you don't have 17s and still want to do this "OEM Big Brake Upgrade" you can usually pick up some 17s on CL for around $200 in reasonable condition.

Part numbers listed in @Anathollo 's build here:
