@jubei you have 5.29s, right? Do you still like them with the 35s?

Ah, I missed all of that.

I’m still a fan. Yeah, the engine revs a tad high on the highway, but the 3.4 just eats that up.

HAHAHA. 190hp is the spec on a sales sheet. I bet most of us without a supercharger are lucky to be near 190 at this day in age with a 15+ year old truck... even though I only have 25k on my full engine rebuild.

Hopefully tomorrow I can get these guys installed. IMG_20190612_190652099.jpg
Im pretty sure I have more time in making and tidying up the wire harness than I do making the bracket and painting the horns. And the fact that I ran out of black zip ties is driving me crazy. Oh well, wont really be seen.

So I’m trying to do my steering rack bushings and the long bolt closest to the drivers side won’t come all the way out due to it hitting the front diff... any recommendations on how to get it out and then of course back in?

Those aren't the Tyler special though. Mine are AFFD notes, since I couldn't get my C note to work even after attempting to rebuild it, and the local yards had none, since I pulled both sets I could find earlier that week lol.

Also, if youre contemplating doing this and dont mind a wait, just buy from @BartMaster1234 as this was a bit more time consuming than I thought it would be.

    @Blue92 @Fernando

How loud are yours? Are they directional? Just mounted mine yesterday and I'm not impressed. Maybe it's because I'm in the truck. Maybe I have to be in front of it.

    4 run, 2 don't
No installed yet on my Tacoma, but I bought a new 5lb Powertank kit. Also met the owner of RBX Rockbox as well as the owner of PT and got to check out their tricked out vehicles.

They aren't supposed to be much louder than a stock horn setup. Its the tone thats different. Gotta remember these were made to be street legal in 50 states.

I assume you want me to remove your name from the GB since you got a set? Lol

I don’t know how you wired yours, but if you didn’t run your own relay with direct power from the battery the horns will sound like shit on the stock wiring.

My harnesses use 14GA wiring, the stock wiring is maybe 22GA. Can’t handle the amperage four of those horns demand.

Id say their louder than stock, but not by much. They did vibrate my entire workbench when I tested them though lol.

I’ve had people threaten me because I told them I was sold out over PM’s. I wish I was joking.

It should have a flat spot on the flange to clear the diff and if it doesn't, you can grind one

 Kinda surprised yet kinda not surprised. That GB thread attracts a lot of new members who come off as kinda strict about what they want.
