They make me feel bad for my parents.

 

I think our parents generation cared less than we do. Rode bikes until dark, got into all sorts of trouble without us having to check in all the time. I learned how to swim by falling off a floaty in the deep end in a pool. My kids have been enrolled in swim lessons since they were 1-2. Fortunate little buggers.

 

Sorry to hear about the FJ, but that explains why I saw her driving the opposite direction as me on Benson the other day! Glad she's ok.

Watch yourself folks. I had to block a crazy driver from driving in the middle of the construction zone today; she was swerving hitting the curb and running over cones. I got out to see if she was having a stroke or something but she just shook her head and said she was fine. Called the cops and he said she was having some emotional breakdown and there wasn't anything he could do since technically she didn't hit anything.

This was on benson/petro all the way down to talbot on my way to work today.

That math is sound. Two kids aren’t twice as hard, they are exponentially as hard.

The Wife and Boy #1 is camping this week, so I am a single parent of only one child. I feel liberated.

It went really well! I painted over the CMC to prevent rust yesterday and I'm heading out to Oregon in the morning for a few days on the Oregon Back Country Discovery Route.

 

Spray more coats than you think. I wire wheeled the entire area excessively. Then sprayed about 5 coats of paint. Probably will touch up after a month

Yep. I was in the fairwood area the last 7 years but moved further out to Maple Valley end of last summer. I still drive by that safeway 2x a day on my commute to work.

 

Wow... there must be a shorter way to get TO WORK if you have to drive by the safeway twice.

 

I have to pick up my crack hoes, make my rounds and then drop them back off there.
